This design for butter storage is called a “French Style Butter Keeper”, also known as a “butter bell”. Icy cold water is stored in the bottom while butter is kept cool upside down in the lid. Take out the lid, spread your butter – Ta-da! Cool butter stored in this efficient design. Glazed in tan and brown matte with wild rose leaves. It comes with usage instructions. Approximately 3 1/2″(h) x 4″(w) with 3″ x 2 1/2″ well in the lid. Leaf placement and glaze design may vary slightly from the one pictured.
